Management

All the decisions that concern Fluminense Federal University’s Postgraduate Program in Media and Everyday Life are taken by an Academic Board, led by the Program’s Coordinator. The board is made up of members of the permanent and part-time faculty, by a student representative and by a representative of the technical staff, in agreement to UFF’s Postgraduate Programs’ Regulation.

All the administrative procedures are carried out by an Executive Committee, made up of the Program’s Coordinator (President), the Vice-Coordinator, and by a representative of each research strand, who are chosen by the Academic Board.

The Coordinator’s role includes the following responsibilities: to arrange deliberative meetings with the board, to represent the program within the institution, and to assure an adequate functioning of the program by attending to the needs of faculty and students.
